Requirements of the thesis

In the case of theses and dissertations, (i) the default rules set out in the rector's instructions regarding permitted and prohibited uses must be followed; and (ii) the student is required to indicate in detail (in a short list) in a statement uploaded as part of the thesis/dissertation which AI tools were used in which work processes during the preparation of the thesis/dissertation, and declare that they did not use any AI tools for any other tasks beyond those listed in the itemized list, and that they are familiar with the Rector's Instruction on the use of AI and complied with it when preparing their thesis/dissertation. To do so, they must use the template included in the appendix to the dean's instruction,

Student statement

Based on the rector's instructions, it is prohibited and considered plagiarism to reproduce any content generated by AI without citing the source, i.e., to present it as one's own work, and it is mandatory to document the use of AI (students can comply with this by accurately completing the faculty statement).
